DOGS for ADOPTION:
Hoping for Forever Homes
This list will grow over time, so please be sure to scroll through the entire list to see the latest dogs - we'll be listing the ones who've been on this list the longest at the top, so newer dogs will be at the bottom. You may also want to check out our HAPPY ENDINGS at the very bottom of this page - where we post information on the dogs who've found loving homes.
Please help us move ALL of these dogs to the list that have found forever homes!
Madison is an absolutely stunning girl and is very sweet with people. She is not very sure of dogs and at this time it is believed that she would prefer to be an only dog. She is currently in a boarding situation and is awaiting entry into the HOPE program where she will work on basic skills, her ability to interact with other dogs, and address any other issues that she may have.
At the kennel staff there report that she loves belly rubs, loves playing outside, and interacting with people. She has received vet care and is up to date on her shots and spayed.

Lillie was found wandering the streets with a severely prolapsed uterus on a very cold January night. Luckily, a good samaritan found her and made the late night call that saved her life. Lillie has now healed and is looking for her forever home.
Lillie is about two years old and is on the smaller side, weighing in at just over 40 pounds. She is of the Heinz 57 variety and is as sweet as can be. She has the most incredible ears and the cutest play bow. She was in a temporary foster home to heal from her surgery and did well with the resident dogs there. She is now in a permanent foster home with four kitty foster siblings. She generally does well with the cats, but will sometimes chase if they make a run for it. She does relax on the couch with them at night once everyone is resting.
She is house trained and crate trained. She knows all the basic commands: sit, lay down, stay, shake and has a great spin trick as well. Through a bit of training, Lillie has gotten pretty good at walking loose on a leash. She is a very smart girl and is eager to please. She's happy to perform her many tricks in return for praise.

For the first six years of her life, Queen was surrounded by a family who loved her. Now this sweet and beautiful American Staffordshire Terrier is in need of a new home due to changing circumstances for her owner.
Queen has been around children for much of her life and is very gentle with them. She has been fearful of some men, but she is more than happy to greet the majority of people she meets whether man or woman, young or old. Queen loves to go for walks and car rides. She tends to destroy toys, so bones are the best option for her. And like most pitties, she LOVES to cuddle.
Queen has been spayed, she's housebroken, and up-to-date on her shots. She gets along with some other dogs, but not all, so introductions would be necessary to determine if she would be a good fit in a home with other dogs. She has not been around cats. Queen knows basic commands but additional training and lots of exercise would help her be the best dog she can be.

Queen is currently in a kennel, so a foster or forever home is needed. If interested in Queen, please click here for more information.
Meet Archer! This handsome boy is just two years old and wants nothing more than to find that special someone to share the rest of his life. Here are a few of Archer’s “likes:” Belly rubs, sloppy kisses, snuggling, car rides, toys (especially balls and squeakies), Nylabones and last but not least…cheeseburgers! Archer is currently in a kennel, but a guardian angel is working with him on commands, including heel, sit, stay and come which he has already mastered, and now he’s working on “down” and “shake.” He is very treat-motivated, so that makes him an ideal student. Archer is a good boy who loves people but is selective about other dogs. He has not been cat tested. A foster or forever home is needed to help give this gorgeous boy the life he deserves. He has so much love to give!

is a 5 year old, German Shepherd/Pit Bull mix who weighs about 60 lbs. He's very sweet and laid back. He loves kids, especially playing with them. Buster gets along well with other dogs. He is fantastic on a leash, takes food very gently, and is just a wonderful, wonderful dog! He's also a very happy guy, lots and lots of tail-wagging all the time, and SOOO affectionate! Buster just goes with the flow and would thrive in any family setting.

Jack is a handsome, 3-year-old guy who loves car rides, snuggling with the people he loves, and going for long walks. Unfortunately, after more than a year of bouncing around between foster homes and kennels, this once outgoing pup is feeling pretty insecure. Jack is hoping and praying for someone special to give him the safety and stability he needs to enjoy his favorite things again!
Jack is a sweet, one-year-old boxer mix who is full of happy energy! He loves peanut butter, his Wobble Kong, belly rubs, car rides and jogs or walks with his foster mom and dad. This boy gets along with most dogs provided that they are properly introduced. Jack would do best in a home with experienced dog owners who are dedicated to making sure he receives enough exercise and stimulation and who will continue his obedience training.
Sweet Pea is a young boxer mix, about 9 months old, who has been bounced around a lot in her young life. We can’t figure out why because she is such a lover…she loves to play, loves to snuggle and loves to learn!!
Sweet Pea enjoys the company of other dogs (preferably dogs of her size or smaller), kids or adults…pretty much anyone who will give her a little love and attention in return. We are told she is good with cats as well, but we’ll do further testing to be sure. Because of being bounced around so much, Sweet Pea has some mild separation anxiety, but her foster mom indicates she’s making a deal of improvement.
Sweet Pea is spayed, up-to-date on shots, crate trained and housebroken. She walks fairly well on leash but would benefit from some basic obedience classes with her new family. She’s a smart girl and needs to put her mind to work!

Leila is a beautiful young lady who was rescued from an abusive situation. She is quickly learning to trust her foster mama and is very excited to find a forever family who will love her, pamper her and spoil her.
Leila is very high energy, so we’d love to find a home where she will get lots of exercise. Her favorite toys are balls, especially jolly balls and hard-sided balls. She’s also very sweet and friendly, so after she releases all of that energy, she’s ready to snuggle!
Basic obedience classes are recommended for Leila’s adopters. She walks fairly well on leash and seems to know some basic commands but those lessons will need to be reinforced. We’re still assessing Leila’s ability to get along with other dogs.
Leila will be spayed and brought up to date on her shots before adoption. She is crate trained and housebroken. A home with older kids would be best for her and her high energy level. Let Leila be the love of your life!

Hi! My name is Roscoe, although my foster mom calls me Handsome, Bubba, Big Head or Lover Boy, too. I am a 4 year old American Bull Dog mix who just loves to be with his humans and cuddle! I love being with them, snuggling with them, sleeping with them. Although I will also sleep in my crate with the door open as well. I am crate trained but I am fine just hanging out in the house while my foster mom goes to work.
I am a nice sized boy, weighing about 80 pounds, and that is 80# of pure love! I love to be outside, playing with a ball or other toys. I like playing with my foster sister, not so much with my foster brother. We ignore each other most of the time. I love to run and play and I am still excited when I go for walks so I need a little help with the leash. I am pretty laid back in the house, just like to hang out with my pack.
I have a beautiful thick white coat with brindle spots and my foster mom says I make the cutest faces. I have a sexy overbite too, but that does cause me to drool. I try to contain it, but I get so excited when it is time to eat I forget. My foster mom just wipes my face with a towel.
Anyway – I would love to meet you if you think you could be my forever family!
