Vaccine Clinic
at Dairy Delights Etters
Saturday, February 4, 2012, 11 am - 2 pm

The Central Pennsylvania Animal Alliance (CPAA) will hold a first come, first serve low cost vaccine and micro-chipping clinic for cats and dogs on Saturday, February 4, 2012 from 11am to 2 pm at Dairy Delights, 320 Newberry Commons, Etters, PA 17319. 

Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella (kennel cough) vaccines will be offered for $10 each.  AVID micro-chipping will be available for $25, which includes the registration fee.  All dogs should be on a short leash (martingale collars are suggested) and cats in a secure pet carrier.  BREEDERS WILL NOT BE SERVICED.

Food will be for sale by students from Crossroads Middle School. The proceeds from the food sale will help pay for an educational trip.  Thanks to Dr. Mark Myerhoff, DVM and Sabrena Myerhoff , CVT of Animal Emergency Medical Center, 11 Willow Mill Park Road, Mechanicsburg, Pa  for making this clinic possible.

Donations may be dropped at Dairy Delights year round. CPAA's wish list is located at by clicking here. Clinic proceeds benefit the “De-Sex in the City” spay and neuter program.
CPAA recommends that all pets be seen by a licensed veterinarian yearly for a wellness check.

Dancing for the Paws
Saturday, February 18th, 2012

Dancing for the PawsPut on your dancing shoes! CPAA will be hosting its 3rd annual “Dancing for the Paws” at the Wesley Center at the Camp Hill United Methodist Church, 417 S. 22nd Street, Camp Hill. 

For $10, guests may enjoy 3 hours of music, courtesy of DJ Tommy, dancing, dance lessons led by Matt Stewart of Ballroom on the Go, food and drinks! Prizes will be award to the best dressed, the most unique dancer, and the best overall dance! 

There will also be a silent auction with various items from local shops, salons, spas, and restaurants.  Honored guests of the evening will include adoptable animals from CPAA rescue members!

Vaccine & Microchipping Pet Clinic for Harrisburg City
Saturday, February 25, 2012

This first come, first serve clinic, for Harrisburg City residents, will be held at the Unitarian Church of Harrisburg (Shared Ministry),1508 Market Street, between 1:30 and 4:30 pm. Registration will begin at 1:15 pm. Vaccinations will be FREE for ALREADY spayed and neutered (fixed) cats and dogs For dogs and cats NOT ALREADY spayed and neutered (fixed) vaccinations will be $5 each. Rabies, distemper and bordetella (kennel cough) vaccines will be offered. Dewormer will be free and flea prevention will be available for a donation of $15 per dose. AVID micro-chipping, a one day special of $15, includes registration. Please have all dogs on a short leash, aggressive dogs muzzled and cats in a secure carrier for the safety of all animals. Please do not hand carry animals. The clinic veterinarian will be Dr. Robert Heidecker of Good Hope Animal Hospital, Mechanicsburg. Donations are encouraged. World Spay Day Yappy Hour
Tuesday, February 28, 2012, from 5 pm to 8 pm

Held at the Appalachian Brewing Company, 3721 Market Street, Camp Hill, PA, CPAA is holding the public awareness/fundraising event in conjunction with "World Spay Day 2012," an annual campaign of the Humane Society of the United States to encourage people to spay and neuter their pets and feral cats.

Highlights include dinner and drink specials, celebrity bartenders, musical entertainment, raffles, a 50/50 drawing, pictures of adoptable animals and information on fostering dogs and cats.

Spay-ghetti Dinner 
Saturday, March 24, 2012, from 4 pm to 7 pm

CPAA will host its 8th annual Spay-ghetti Dinner at the Camp Hill United Methodist Church, 417 S. 22nd Street, Camp Hill, PA. 

Tickets cost $6 for Adults and kids over age 12; children ages 3 to 12 are $4; children under age 3 eat free.  The meal includes all-you-can-eat spaghetti with marinara sauce, meatballs (you can choose meat or meatless), Italian bread, applesauce and a beverage. A variety of homemade desserts will be available for just $1. Unique raffle items are also being offered.
  
All proceeds support CPAA’s spay/neuter programs, and tickets are available for purchase at the door.

Compassion with Fashion

The beautiful grand ballroom of the West Shore County Club is the setting for CPAA's signature event on Sunday, April 29, 2012! Doors open at noon, and the afternoon features hors d'oeuvres, a gourmet vegetarian luncheon, dessert, door prizes, raffle baskets, silent auction, and fashion show. 

 

Our Special Guest and KeynoteSpeaker will be Capt. Luis Carlos Montalvan, New York Times best-selling author of Until Tuesday—A Wounded Warrior and the Golden Retriever Who Saved Him. Tuesday, Luis' Golden Retriever, will be there, too!

Premier runway seats are $110 each, or a table of ten for $1,000, which includes a private reception and book signing with Capt. Montalvan from 11 am to 12 noon.  Only 50 premier runway seats are available, so reserve your space early!  All other seats are $65, or a table of ten for $600.  Please use the buttons below to reserve your seat/s now!
