The Central Pennsylvania Animal Alliance (CPAA) is an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that consists of an alliance of local animal rescue organization partners, working together to save the lives of dogs and cats through extensive spay/neuter programs, adoptions and fostering, and public outreach and education.
CPAA brings together individuals and area rescue and shelter groups to end the killing of dogs and cats as the means of animal population control. Together, we can create a “no-kill” community in central Pennsylvania that is better for both people and animals.
Every litter is a tragedy, because each litter of puppies or kittens born means more shelter animals die.
Don't breed or buy while homeless animals die.

Meet Uno - The Virtual Dog!
This is Uno, and she's here to tell you how one person – you! – can make a difference in the life of a rescued dog…what we at CPAA like to call "the power of one."
"Woof! I'm Uno, and I'm so happy to meet you. I've lived the lives of many rescued dogs, and the stories I'm about to tell are their stories. By sharing them, I'm hoping you'll see how much we pups need your help. It only takes one person to make a difference in the life of a dog like me. Will you be that person? "
