The Pet Fund is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit association that
provides financial assistance to owners of domestic animals who
need urgent veterinary care.
Available to: residents of DC who have HIV/AIDS. Assistance: Provides
public health education, exercise, pet foods, veterinary care,
grooming, fostering and adoption services.
Pit Bull Rescue Central
Available to: shelter organizations, foster care givers, rarely
individuals whose personal animals are in need. Assistance: medical
treatment and S/N funding. Guidelines online.
Rose's Fund for Animals Through tax-exempt donations, Rose's Fund provides assitance in paying veterinary bills for emergency and life-threatening illnesses, injuries, and conditions where there is true need on the part of the pet owner.
