Spay/Neuter

No matter how many free spay/neuter clinics we offer, there will still be a large percentage of the population that we won't be able to reach. Our spay/neuter van is the most effective way to do it. We plan to take the van into the communities where the need for spay/neuter is the greatest -- the city of Harrisburg and the trailer parks with hundreds of feral cats reproducing at an alarming rate to name just two. The van will be available for use in locations where all CPAA members are located, so that we can address animal overpopulation on a regional level. Through the use of the van and spay/neuter clinics, CPAA will address animal overpopulation proactively, instead of reactively after the animals are born. If you are interested in contributing to the van, or helping with fundraising efforts for continued use of the van, please contact Zella.

Cats and dogs can't drive to the clinic -- they need a little help getting spayed and neutered. Check out this great video on YouTube, created by the Alliance for Humane Action (AHA). To see the video, click here.
