The Central Pennsylvania Animal Alliance (“CPAA”) maintains a sales web site that requires users to sign up for an account with CPAA prior to purchasing its products online. During this sign-up process, the web site collects contact (name, address, and email address) and financial (payment information to make purchases) information from you. Contact information in the account is used to ship orders to customers and also to contact the visitor when necessary. Financial information that is collected is used to bill the customer for products purchased.

            The web site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. We use SHA-2 and 2048-bit encryption to protect your information.

            The CPAA sales web site uses ecommerce software by AbanteCart to collect customer contact and financial information, and passes this information to PayPal, Inc., in order to collect payments from customers. Please review the AbanteCart privacy policy and the PayPal privacy policy for details on how this information is protected while information is being collected and purchase payments processed.

            Customers with accounts set up with CPAA have the option to change and modify information previously provided by logging in through our home page and then accessing account administration.

            Customers desiring to remove their information from our database and/or not receive any future communications from our service may request removal in writing (via letter or email) at the addresses provided below.
